Office of Research Affairs and International Relations consults the School Boards of Management in science, technology activities and international cooperation to give appropriate directions. The Department participates in developing strategies, policies, plans in the short term, long-term, international collaboration, and annual goals of the University. Along with the coordination and effective use of resources for the investment in the development of science and technology activities of HIU international University.

In 1999, the Board of Management recognized the importance of international collaboration, expanding partnerships with education providers in the region and worldwide. Since then, Hong Bang International University established the International Cooperation Department. Today, many universities worldwide want to work and connect to support each other in teaching, cultural and students exchanges.
