On the morning of February 28, 2023, Hong Bang International University (HIU) hosted a meeting with the Delegation of the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan – Vice President of HIU, represented the university in welcoming Consul General Agustaviano Sofjan and his colleagues.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the implementation of cooperation between HIU and international universities in Indonesia. The main objective is to create opportunities for practical training and exchange of study programs for HIU students and Vietnamese students in general.

In addition, the Consul General also introduced to the university the writing contest on the theme of ASEAN 2023: “ASEAN Issues – The Center of Growth”. The contest is co-organized by the Vietnam – Southeast Asia Conference, APTISI – the Association of Indonesian Private Universities, the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia, and Gojek.

Detailed information about the contest will be sent to all HIU students soon. The university hopes to receive many high-quality entries from students to have the opportunity to win valuable prizes.

HIU believes that, through this meeting and future cooperation activities, the relationship between HIU and Indonesian universities will be further strengthened and developed.
