Dr. Vo Van Nhan, PhD, a dental implant specialist, is the first person in Southeast Asia to use a robot in positioning in dental implants.
He is a regular speaker at international scienctific workshops; the first Vietnamese doctor to relocate lower jaw nerve in dental implants, to implant cheekbones for patients with upper jawbone damaged, to better implant cheekbones combined with relocating lower alveolar nerves and concurrent dental implants in the tooth restoration process for patients with dysplastic tooth production, thus creating new breakthroughs in Vietnams’ dental implantation.

The VIDEC 10 conference was held in Hanoi on August 25, 2017. This was the biggest scientific event of the year in Vietnam, with a great reputation domestically and internationally. Attending the conference, Dr. Vo Van Nhan took on 2 roles: Chairman and Speaker. This was also the first time that Dr. Vo Van Nhan introduced a new method: Dental implantation for patients with inborn toothlessness, combining cheekbone implant with relocating lower alveolar nerves.

DOCTOR VU VAN NHAN, PhD
2002: Graduated as Resident Doctor at University of Medicine and Pharmacy Ho Chi Minh City.
2003: Graduated from 2-year training course in oral surgery – periodontal problems in a joint program between University of Marseille and University of Medicine and Pharmacy Ho Chi Minh City.
2012: Graduated from Master of Clinical Doctor Program in Implant Dentistry from University of California, Los Angeles, USA.
2015: Defended doctoral thesis with the topic: Research on implants in patients with jawbone transplanted after surgery to shape the cleft lip and the entire palate.
2020: the first Vietnamese doctor to successfully use the X-guide positioning system in implantation.
He has many articles published in Vietnam and abroad on sinus issues, bone transplantation and implants in complicated cases.
April 2017: Speaker at 23rd International Conference on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Hong Kong
Currently, Dr. Vo Van Nhan holds the position of Head of Dental Rehabilitation – Faculty of Odonto Stomatology, Hong Bang International University.
